The Investment and Development Office (IDO) was set up on 1 January 2004 with the
aim to identify new investment opportunities and facilitate the prospective investors
in their goals to set up new businesses in RAK. The broad vision and mission of
IDO is enumerated as follows:

- Act as ambassador, pioneer, facilitator, supplier and originator
of ideas

- Conduct inbound and outbound investment missions

- Avail information and data to investors and publish the relevant
indicators

- Provide one window facility to the investors and follow through
all commitments

- Differentiate Ras Al Khaimah from other Emirates and enhance the
investment climate
|
- Provide direct investments (or participations) when necessary.

- Develop targeted promotional strategies and marketing messages

- Facilitate the government processes and identify and iron out
legal hindrances faced by investors to improve the investment environment in Ras
Al Khaimah
