RAK Petroleum (Public Company Limited) was formed with the aim of establishing projects in oil, gas, chemicals, petrochemicals and other related projects, initially in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah and subsequently in other parts of the United Arab Emirates and the world.

The primary areas of business of the Company are:

• - Exploration and production
• - Oil and gas processing
• - Industrial products -Energy

The IDO was the Lead Manager and the main advisor in the setting up of RAK Petroleum as a Private Joint Stock Company and was responsible in the placement of its founders’ shares totaling AED 3 billion.
